 Expert Witness Testimony and Depositions

For obvious reasons, our initial task is to quickly enable the resolution of these quality excursions so that the client can isolate the source, correct the source component and confirm when the problem has, in fact, been resolved by these actions. Successfully meeting these challenges enables the ultimate goal to be achieved; getting the facility back into operation; producing acceptable product, competing in the marketplace, meeting payroll and all other associated benefits. Unfortunately, there will usually be a negative economic impact on the affected company which will linger long after the problem has been solved.

This impact manifests itself in a number of ways; including, lost production and sales, loss of consumer confidence, loss of quality personnel as well as the costs associated with actually investigating and resolving the problem. It is reasonable for a company impacted in this way to request compensation from an outside party which has been clearly linked to the source of the quality excursion.

Should such requests reach the point where litigation becomes the only option, the principal investigators from Microanalytics can be engaged to provide expert witness services in support of our findings. In addition our unique expertise can also be engaged to review findings and conclusions from outside investigative sources; especially as relates to the complex field of odor and flavor cross-contamination.
